About Us

Keith and Dona both grew up in Montana - Dona is a "native" fourth generation Montanan from east of the Continental Divide (Great Falls) and Keith grew up in the Flathead Valley just to the south (Lakeside and Kalispell).  Both graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman - Go Cats!  And have been "happily" married for over 29 years!

Having experienced the wonders of Montana throughout our entire lives, we embarked on our "dream" over 20 years ago...That "dream" was to have a truly unique  experience available in Northwest Montana for other people to enjoy.

The world has become a pretty hectic place - The Eagle's Nest, The Montana Cabin, and The Kootenai Cabin provide a "hideaway" where you can come to experience a slower, more relaxing, pace of life.  Be prepared to take off your watch, and try not to read a newspaper or watch any television...It's truly your chance to step aside and just let the world continue by!

Our three beautiful log cabins (The Eagle's Nest, The Montana Cabin, and The Kootenai Cabin) provide a unique opportunity for you to have your own Montana log cabin vacation home and not have to worry if there's another cabin (or many more) lined up and all "scrunched" together.

The Eagle's Nest and The Montana Cabin are in separate, and private, locations on a 20+ acre piece of property that overlook the Canadian Rockies and Lake Koocanusa...In addition, the area around us is very secluded and peaceful - and has very few other homes (you'll have to look in the distance to see them).  Many have asked if we plan to put up additional rental cabins on the 20+ acre piece of property - as they've said "there's plenty of room"....but our answer, and philosophy, remains the same - no.

This can be demonstrated by the fact that The Kootenai Cabin sits on the other side of Lake Koocanusa and enjoys end-of-the-road privacy right next to the Canadian border with British Columbia.

Each cabin is fully furnished with everything that you'll need for a very enjoyable stay in Northwest Montana...Just bring yourself and any food/drink that you'll require during your stay...And remember to slow down and RELAX.  If you're staying at The Eagle's Nest or The Montana Cabin, you'll now have a private hot tub and gazebo to relax in after a day of enjoying the surrounding area.
